Delhi waqf amendment bill protest on 17 March at jantar mantar muslim personal law board AIMIM ANN
Delhi news: There will be a demonstration against the Waqf Amendment Bill in Delhi on March 17 at Jantar Mantar. Today (Sunday) A strategy was prepared in the meeting of All India Muslim Personal Law Board. Delhi Pradesh President Shoaib Jamai of All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul Muslimeen (AIMIM) also attended the meeting. He informed that AIMIM workers and leaders will be part of a peaceful demonstration.
Shoaib Jamai said, “We all have to rise above political differences and unite in the interest of the community. The protection of Waqf properties is our collective responsibility. We will raise our voice in a democratic manner against the Waqf Amendment Bill. ” Let us know that there has been a long -standing dispute over the properties of the Waqf Board. The new Waqf Amendment Bill has resentment among Muslim organizations. Muslims say that law is an attempt to weaken the rights of Waqf properties and to increase the direct interference of the government in the administrative structure.
Demonstration against Waqf Amendment Bill
Many organizations, including the Muslim Personal Law Board, believe that the proposed change in the Waqf Act is a threat to autonomy. The Waqf Bill will affect the financial and administrative independence of the board. Therefore, protests are being done all over the country. Now preparations are being made to protest against the Waqf Amendment Bill in Delhi too. AIMIM and other organizations have made it clear that the performance on Monday will be completely peaceful and democratic. Religious leaders, social workers and general public will also be involved in the demonstration.

All parties, organizations and community members have been invited to join the demonstration. The organizers made it clear that the purpose of protests is not against any government or party but to protect the rights of the community. The Muslim Personal Law Board and AIMIM have indicated that if the Waqf Amendment Bill is not withdrawn, there will be extensive protests across the country. In the coming days, plans are also being made to hold meetings and protest marches. AIMIM Delhi Pradesh has resolved to strengthen the movement to save Waqf properties.
