Delhi Capitals registered their sixth win in IPL 2025 after defeating Lucknow Super Giants by eight wickets at Ekana Cricket Stadium. After Mukesh Kumar showed his heroics with the ball, Abishek Porel and KL Rahul came up with respective fifties as DC chased the target of 160 runs in 17.5 overs losing two wickets. With this, DC are back on their winning track after losing their last game against Gujarat Titans. 
The main highlights of the match was KL Rahul’s match-winning fifty against his ex-team in front of their home crowd. The right-hander finished the game with a six to take DC home remaining unbeaten on 57*(42) runs while skipper Axar Patel scored an unbeaten on 34* runs off 20 balls. 
Starting their IPL 2025 campaign with a thriling one-wicket win over LSG in their opening match of the season in Vizag, DC came as a more prepared side when they faced DC for the second time this season. Despite a great start by their opening pair, LSG failed to keep the momentum going and were restricted at 159/6. After that, DC batters didn’t face any challenge by LSG bowlers as chased the target within 18 overs. After the match, the fans came up with different aand hilarious memes on social media. 














After this win, Delhi Capitals now have same wins and losses like the table toppers GT but are placed second in the points table due to difference in the net run rate while LSG are standing at the fifth spot.
