13.1: Kamindu Mendis to Jos Buttler, On a length, on leg, this is clipped off the back foot to long on for a single.
Washington Sundar is in at number 4.
Is that a run out? Heinrich Klaasen collects the ball on the bounce, and flicks the ball onto the stumps. The batter, Shubman Gill, is clearly short of his crease, but the third umpire wants to be assured whether Klaasen has dislodged the bail using his glove or has cleanly flicked the ball into the stumps. Three different angles come up for the third umpire’s reference now. And he is satisfied that Klaasen has done a clean job.
12.6: Zeeshan Ansari to Jos Buttler, OUT! RUN OUT! A massive moment in this game, and it could have gone either way! Sunrisers Hyderabad gets a huge breakthrough and they will want to build on this now. Zeeshan Ansari fires this one full, on leg, Jos Buttler clips it to short fine and calls for the run. Shubman Gill responds too quickly. Harshal Patel is quick to pick up and puts in a flat throw towards the keeper’s end. Heinrich Klaasen is standing in front of the stumps, and tries to flick it onto the stumps with his gloves but this looks really close here. The third umpire checks whether the stumps were broken by the keeper’s gloves or the ball. After a few angles and replays, he was convinced that it is the ball because there is also a deviation after it hit the stumps. Gill is a bit confused but has to walk back after a fine 76 off just 38 balls!
12.5: Zeeshan Ansari to Shubman Gill, Shortish and on leg, Shubman Gill clips it through square leg for one.
12.4: Zeeshan Ansari to Shubman Gill, FOUR! Sloppy work again in the field from SRH! Flatter, full and on leg, Shubman Gill drills it away wide of long on. Jaydev Unadkat dives to his right but only manages to parry it over the fence for a boundary.
12.3: Zeeshan Ansari to Shubman Gill, Good effort in the deep! Zeeshan Ansari sees the batter advance and bowls this full, way outside off. Shubman Gill still manages to reach for it and lofts it wide of long off. Aniket Verma runs to his left quickly and pushes the ball back inside. Two runs taken.
12.2: Zeeshan Ansari to Jos Buttler, Short again and on leg, Jos Buttler pulls it to deep square leg for a run.
12.1: Zeeshan Ansari to Shubman Gill, A bit short and on leg, Shubman Gill swipes it to deep square leg for one.
11.6: Harshal Patel to Shubman Gill, Change of pace, hard length and around off, Shubman Gill punches it to sweeper covers for one.
JUST IN – To compound the woes for Sunrisers Hyderabad, they have now been warned twice by the umpires for not starting the new over in the slotted time. In case you don’t know, the new over should start within 60 seconds after the completion of the previous over. Shall there be another such instance, Gujarat Titans will be awarded 5 extra runs as a penalty for SRH.
11.5: Harshal Patel to Jos Buttler, DROPPED! Pat Cummins is the culprit here! Harshal Patel takes pace off, full and around off, Jos Buttler looks to slog it away but goes through it early and gets a top edge. The ball flies in the air towards mid off where Pat Cummins tries to settle under it, but misjudges it completely. In the end, he tries to take it with both hands behind his head and leans back, but fails to even get a hand on that one. They cross. This could be very costly for SRH!
11.4: Harshal Patel to Shubman Gill, Short of a length and outside off, Shubman Gill cuts it towards deep point for a run.
11.3: Harshal Patel to Shubman Gill, Just short! A slower one, back of a length and just outside of, Shubman Gill looks to cut it away but gets a thin outside edge. Heinrich Klaasen, the keeper, dives forward but the ball just bounces in front of him.
