The Indian Premier League mini auction is just around the corner, and the 10 teams are busy doing their last-minute homework to make sure their squads are as competitive as possible for the 2026 edition of the tournament.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released the final list of 350 players who will be put on sale during the IPL mini auction on December 16 in Abu Dhabi.
The board had initially released a list of 1355 players, but after receiving the preference list from all franchises, the list has been pruned by 75 percent. Out of the final 350, 240 are Indians, while the remaining 110 are from abroad.

Interestingly, 35 new players, who were not part of the first list, have been included. Some of the prominent names among them are  Quinton de Kock, Dunith Wellalage, and George Linde. Afghanistan’s Arab Gul and the West Indies’ Akeem Auguste have also been included.
De Kock has been added in the third set and has a base price of INR 1 crore. A scintillating ODI century in Visakhapatnam against India helped him boost his stock, and a franchise came forward to suggest his name in the final list.
