Punjab News: In view of the increasing tension between India and Pakistan in Punjab for the last few days, all educational institutions were closed. But now after the situation became normal, Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains has made an important announcement.
Today, he has shared a post on his social media (x) account and said that information about the opening of all schools, colleges and universities of Punjab has been shared.
All educational institutions will open from May 12- Harjot Singh Bains
Minister Harjot Singh Bains wrote- ‘All schools, colleges and universities of Punjab will be opened again from tomorrow (May 12) and regular classes and examinations will be conducted according to the predetermined educational program.’
All Educational Institutions – Schools, College, and Universities – Across Punjab Shall Reopen from Tomorrow. Regular Classes and Examinations will proceed as per academic schedule.

Along with this, Harjot Singh Bains also made it clear that there will be no blackout in Nangal and Anandpur Sahib today i.e. May 11. they wrote,
“No Blackout in Nangal & Anandpur Sahib today.”
On May 8, the shutdown of all educational institutions was announced
Please tell that on May 8, Harjot Singh Bains issued an order to close all educational institutions in Punjab for 3 days. He had said that this decision has been taken in view of the stressful situation of India-Pakistan.
Now that the situation has improved and ceasefire has been announced, the government has decided to resume educational activities. Minister Bains said that it is the reason for the courage and dedication of our brave soldiers that Punjab is returning to normal life again.
This announcement of the government has brought great relief to students, teachers and parents. The education system is returning to track again when the situation is normal. The situation is constantly being monitored by the administration and more instructions can be issued in future if required.
