Kolkata: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a schedule change for Match No. 19 of IPL 2025 between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). Originally scheduled for April 6, the match at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, will now take place on April 8, 2025, at 3:30 PM IST.
The change was made due to security concerns arising from citywide festivities in Kolkata around the original match date. As a result, April 8 will now be a double-header, featuring KKR vs LSG in the afternoon and Punjab Kings (PBKS) vs Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the evening.
This update follows BCCI's ongoing efforts to ensure smooth conduct of the tournament while prioritising safety and logistics. Fans attending the match at Eden Gardens are advised to check for any further updates regarding tickets and stadium entry guidelines.
