Mumbai Indians have added another record to their name. The team has now become a five-time champion in the Indian Premier League (IPL), setting a historic benchmark. Despite a disappointing start to the current season, having secured only one win in their first five matches, the Mumbai Indians have made a strong comeback and are now surging ahead with consecutive victories.
On Sunday, under the leadership of Hardik Pandya, the Mumbai Indians achieved a convincing 54-run victory against the Lucknow Super Giants. With this triumph, the team registered its fifth consecutive win. This victory also marked a significant milestone, as it became Mumbai Indians’ 150th win in IPL history. Notably, Mumbai Indians have become the first team in the tournament’s history to achieve this feat.
In terms of the most victories by IPL teams, Mumbai Indians top the list with 150 wins. They are followed by Chennai Super Kings with 140 wins, Kolkata Knight Riders with 134, Royal Challengers Bangalore with 129, and Delhi Capitals with 112 victories.
