With the change in schedule, fans who had booked their tickets in advance were anxious about their standing. However, the franchises have conveyed reassuring news. They confirmed that those who have already bought tickets will be permitted entry into the stadium for the rescheduled matches.
The IPL will resume with a match on May 17, featuring Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) facing Kolkata Knight Riders at their home ground. Following this, RCB will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad on May 23. According to the initial schedule, this latter match was originally set to take place on May 13.
