From kane Williamson to Daryl Mitchell, several big names overlooked in IPL 2025 have found a fresh stage in the Pakistan Super League. These so-called “IPL rejects” are turning heads in the PSL, proving they’ve still got plenty of firepower left.
New Zealand’s legend Kane Williamson, has been drafted by the Karachi Kings for the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL) season. This will see him playing alongside David Warner in the current PSL. Williamson, who played for the Gujarat Titans in the 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL), failed to receive any bids at the 2025 IPL auction.
David Warner, formerly of the Australian national team, is the highest-paid player in the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL), signing with the Karachi Kings. After going unsold at the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) auction, Warner will be participating in the PSL for the first time. He previously played for the Delhi Capitals in the 2024 IPL season.
Irish fast bowler, Josh Little, who played for the Gujarat Titans in the 2024 IPL, will join the Multan Sultans for the 2025 PSL season after going unsold at the 2025 IPL auction. He is expected to be a significant bowling asset for the Multan Sultans.
Mohammad Nabi, an Afghan all-rounder, will join the Karachi Kings for the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL) season. After playing seven matches for the Mumbai Indians in the 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL), he went unsold at the 2025 IPL auction. During his time with Mumbai Indians, he scored 35 runs and took 2 wickets.
Peshawar Zalmi has signed West Indies fast bowler, Joseph, for the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL) season. After playing for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL), Joseph went unsold at the 2025 IPL auction. He will aim to make a strong impact in his PSL debut.
Mitchell, a New Zealand cricketer who played for the Chennai Super Kings in the 2024 IPL season, will join the Lahore Qalandars for the 2025 PSL season. This will mark his PSL debut, following his unsold status in the 2025 IPL auction.
