Udaipur:- The effect of increasing heat in the city is now visible on humans as well as animals. Special arrangements have been made for wildlife in Sajjangarh Biological Park due to increasing temperature and heat stroke. Their food and living have been completely changed to give relief from the heat. The lions and tigers of the park are now being bathed with cold water every morning and evening, so that their body can remain cold. At the same time, ice cream is being given to the bears to protect them from the heat, which they are eating with great fervor. Coolers and fans have been installed in front of the cages so that animals can get cold air. Also, a green net has been installed to protect against strong sunlight, so that the sun does not reach the cages directly.
Wildlife doctor gave information
Dr. Himanshu Vyas, a wildlife doctor of the park, said that animals need more water in summer. Therefore, along with water, they are also being given glucose and electrolytes, so that there is no lack of water in their body. At the same time, Ranger Prabhulal Meena said that in view of the heat, the time of the park has also been changed. Now it will be open from 9 am to 5:30 pm, whereas earlier used to open only till 5 pm.
Temperature will increase again from April 14

The maximum temperature in Dabok was recorded at 41.4 degrees, but the night temperature rose 2.4 degrees to 27.1 degrees. According to the Meteorological Department, in the coming days, due to the effect of western disturbance, winds will be used in southern Rajasthan including Udaipur and there are chances of rain. With thunderstorms and clouds thunder, the heat may get some relief till April 13, but the temperature will increase again from April 14-15.
