Patiala Road Accident 6 Students and driver Died Truck and SUV car collision in Punjab

Punjab Road Accident: A horrific road accident occurred on Wednesday in Samana in Patiala district of Punjab. Six school children and a driver died in a truck and SUV car collision here. Police gave this information. The accident happened on Samana-Patiala Road when the students were coming back from school riding in SUV.

Police said six of the nine students in the car were killed, while a child was seriously injured. The age of the deceased children was 12-13 years old. He said that the driver also died in the accident, while the car was badly damaged. The accident was so tremendous that the car flew away. There was a lot of effort to get the children out of the crashed car.

Case filed against truck driver

According to eyewitnesses, the truck was at a very high speed and suddenly came in front of the cab and there has been a tremendous collision between the two. The children sitting in the car were badly trapped after the collision. The police team reached the spot immediately after the incident. Along with this, ambulances also arrived and the children were taken to the hospital.

Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann expressed grief over the accident

On the other hand, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Shiromani Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Singh Badal have also mourned the deaths. CM Bhagwant Mann wrote on social media X, “On Patiala-Samana Road, a very sad news of a private school van filled with children has been found. In which the pain of the death of some children, including the driver of the school van, has been reported, while some children have been seriously injured.

He further wrote, “The teams of administration are present on the spot. I am taking information from moment to moment. I pray to God for the peace of the departed souls and the early recovery of the injured children. ”At present, the police administration has informed the families of the deceased about the incident. The police have registered a case against the truck driver.
