Rajasthan Royals will take on the Punjab Kings in match 18 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in New Chandigarh on Saturday, April 5.
The PBKS vs RR match will begin at 7:30 PM Indian Standard Time (IST).
The match against PBKS will be the Rajasthan Royals’s fourth match in IPL 2025. RR hold a clear edge against the Kings in the head-to-head record with the inaugural IPL champions winning 16 matches and losing 12.

Last year, the Royals defeated Punjab Kings at the same venue by three wickets.
Shimron Hetmyer sealed the victory for the Royals, hitting two sixes off the last three balls to chase down 148 for a win. Hetmyer remained unbeaten on 27 off just 10 balls, hitting three sixes and a four. Yashasvi Jaiswal top-scored with 39 runs.
Both Hetmyer and Jaiswal are part of the Rajasthan Royals’ IPL 2025 squad.
Punjab Kings, meanwhile, will be led by last year’s title-winning captain Shreyas Iyer.
Following the match against Punjab Kings, the Rajasthan Royals will head to Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad to play Gujarat Titans on April 9.
Rajasthan Royals will then host Royal Challengers Bengaluru for their first game at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur in the IPL 2025 season on April 13.
