RCB ON SALE! Diageo Confirms New Ownership Ahead Of IPL 2026 – Cricket.com

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are on sale, and it is official now. According to Cricbuzz’s reports, the current owners of RCB, Diageo, have confirmed that they have already initiated the sale process, and it will be completed before March 31, 2026.
The publication further reported that Diageo themselves have put the company up for sale, on November 5 (Wednesday). 
As per Cricbuzz’s reports, "the USL is initiating a strategic review of the investment in its wholly owned subsidiary, RCSPL. RCSPL's business comprises ownership of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) franchise team that participate in the men's Indian Premier League (IPL) and Women's Premier League (WPL) cricket tournaments hosted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) annually.
"It is expected the process will conclude by March 31, 2026."
RCB are the current holders of the Indian Premier League (IPL), breaking an 18-year jinx, lifting the trophy for the first time.
