The 18^th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has come down to the wire with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) setting up the summit clash against table-toppers, Punjab Kings (PBKS). The much-awaited IPL 2025 final is scheduled to be played on Tuesday, June 3 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad and is set to be a cracker of a game with the tournament seeing a new champion after a gap of three years.


With the finale just a night away, the biggest question which comes is, how much will the IPL 2025 winner get after lifting the coveted title on Tuesday. Although the premier T20 franchise league has seen a manifold in its prize money since its inception in 2008, but a clarity on how much will the winner get, still remains unknown.
While the tournament in its initial stages saw the winner get awarded with a prize sum of INR 4.8 Crore, it later was doubled to INR 10 Crore from 2010. If further saw a rise by INR 5 Crore from the 2014 edition, and since 2016 season of the T20 league, the title winner is getting INR 20 Crore. Likewise, the winner of IPL 2025 is also set to get INR 20 Crore, whereas the runners-up will take home a sum of INR 13 Crore.

While the sum is massive for the title winners and the runners-up, it will be interesting to see who lifts the title. Moreover, the team finishing in third place in IPL 2025 will also receive a sum of INR 7 Crore whereas the fourth placed team could be in line to get INR 6.5 Crore.


Speaking of the tournament, while the Bengaluru-based franchise enter the final after beating Punjab Kings, who finished at the top of the table in IPL 2025 standings, by eight wickets in Qualifier 1 in Mullanpur, the Shreyas Iyer-led franchise are making their way into the final after 11 long years, beating the likes of Mumbai Indians (MI) in Qualifier 2 by five wickets in Ahmedabad.
