Devotees here are from offering Kavad to Dandavati and Jalabhishek and Rudrabhishek also occur.

According to Acharya Sunil Singh, after the manifestation of Mahadev himself, the intellectual people established it here. It was named Van Khandeshwar Mahadev Temple.
