Two Helmet Rules in India: To strengthen road safety in India, Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari has announced that it will now be mandatory to provide two ISI certified helmets with every two -wheeler. This announcement made at the Auto Summit has received full support of the Helmet Manufacturers Association of India. The purpose behind this move is to reduce deaths and serious injuries in road accidents.

It has been announced by Nitin Gadkari that from now on, the manufacturer will give two helmets to customers while buying two wheelers in the country. These helmets will be certified ISI, which must be compulsorily given.

Rajiv Kapoor, president of the Helmet Manufacturers Association of India, says that this is not just a rule but the country is needed. Those who have lost their loved ones in road accidents. In such a situation, this decision for them will be a ray of hope that in the coming time people can avoid such tragedy. He said that this initiative will be a milestone in road safety, which will start a new era for a safe and intelligent two -wheeler journey in India.

How many accidents happen every year?

Recently, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari had told that about 4 lakh 80 thousand road accidents occur every year in India. Of these, 1.8 lakh people also die and not only that many lakh people are seriously injured. The most affected people are two -wheeler drivers and walking passengers.

Along with this, Kiren Rijiju also said that the number of road accidents in India is the highest in the world, which is a matter of serious concern. Along with this, he appealed to the people to follow the traffic rules so that road accidents could be prevented.
