SRH vs GT live updates and scorecard: Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have been asked to bat first by Gujarat Titans (GT) in the Match 19 of the Indian Premier League 2025 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Sunday (6 April). Sunrisers, who are captained by Pat Cummins, are currently struggling for form, having lost the last three matches on a trot, while GT are on a two-game winning streak. Gujarat captain Shubman Gill will look to continue the winning momentum and outclass Cummins today. We will bring you all the live updates, score, commentary, analysis and scorecard from the SRH vs GT match here.
Pat Cummins: Happy to bat first. We want to be aggressive. It’s a ground we like batting at, we scored 280 at this venue not so long ago. We need to play our best. Need to focus on our strengths. Harshal Patel misses as he is ill, Jaydev Unadkat comes in.
Shubman Gill: We are going to bowl first. Looks like a slowish wicket, different from the previous two games as it’s a black soil surface. Generally it’s a good wicket. We have been playing well, need to adapt to the conditions as soon as possible. I think we had good memories in the past, we are continuing to have good fun. Washington comes in for Arshad Khan.

As SRH prepare to face GT tonight, fans are eager to see if they can break the elusive 300-run mark. Currently, SRH is at the bottom of the table with one win in four games and is aiming to end a three-match losing streak. A return to their home ground might provide the boost they need to turn things around.
Breaking the 300-run barrier in a T20 match is a formidable challenge and has yet to be achieved in the IPL. SRH’s aggressive batting lineup will look to break the record tonight if they can get going in the powerplay.
In the first match, CSK lost to DC by 25 runs while RR defeated PBKS by 50 runs.
In the CSK game, Dhoni made 30 not out but was nowhere near pulling off the chase against DC.

Sunrisers are on a three-game losing streak after winning their first match in IPL 2025.
SRH vs GT LIVE Score, IPL 2025: Sunrisers Hyderabad seek revival against in-form Gujarat Titans as the two teams collide in a Super Sunday Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 clash on 6 April. The SRH vs GT match will be played from 7.30 PM IST at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
Pat Cummins’s SRH are on a three-game losing streak after making a blistering start to IPL 2025. Ishan Kishan hit a hundred as SRH scored 286 and defeated Rajasthan Royals by 44 runs in their opening match but have lost against Lucknow Super Giants, Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders since then.
Their aggressive batting approach and the strategy to maximise the boundary-hitting balls took them to the final of IPL 2024 but has backfired this season with Sunrisers often failing to score healthy totals. They will need to improve on that front today.
GT, on the other hand, are the form team, with two wins from three matches. They lost to Punjab Kings at first but have defeated Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bengaluru since. Under Shubman Gill’s captaincy, they look like a well-balanced side and hope to continue their winning momentum.
