Students used to study above, there was a cemetery below, 250 human skeletons found in excavation, stunned scientists too!

History is the one that exists before our existence. We do not know much about it but we must hear in books and stories. Some incidents are described in history, but there are some incidents which are buried somewhere and we do not know about them. Whenever that place is excavated, the truths that have been frozen also start coming out. Something similar happened in Britain.

A very unique discovery has been made by the Archaeological Agency Cotswold Archaeology. He has recovered the entire consignment of human skeletons from under the city campus of the University of Glosesterresire, UK. Earlier this campus was placed in possession by Debenhams Department Store, from where an important piece of history has been discovered.

Tombs under university
The exercise to increase the City Campus of the University of Glosesterresire has been going on since 2023. When the excavation took place here, a church of the medieval era was found from below and many graves were also found. These tombs are believed to be associated with St Aldate’s Church, which was present there till 1650. Limestone and Brick Foundation have also been found here. There are about 150 graves inside the ground, of which 317 skeletons have been found. The most surprising thing is that a total of 250 skeletons of humans have been found.

Interesting information received by scientists
On analysis of whatever bodies were buried here, it was found that they used to eat more sweet things and belong to higher social class. The university says that they have no regrets from such a project because it is the past of Gloster and is helping to understand the heritage here. They are considering them very important.
