‘Teri dhajjiya uda dunga’: Furious Harbhajan Singh slams ‘tuchha’ former Pakistan cricketer – 13 February 2026 – Herald Goa
Harbhajan Singh launched a scathing attack on former Pakistan pacer Tanvir Ahmed after the latter made insinuating remarks about him during his stint as a broadcaster in the International League T20 (ILT20). The controversy erupted after Tanvir questioned Harbhajan’s interaction with Pakistan spinner Usman Tariq, suggesting bias and making comments that did not go down well with the former India off-spinner.
Harbhajan, clearly furious, responded through a video on his YouTube channel, directly calling out Tanvir for repeatedly targeting him on television platforms. The former India cricketer questioned Tanvir’s credentials, pointing out that he had featured in only a handful of international matches for Pakistan between 2010 and 2013, yet behaved like a legend of the game.
In his strongly-worded message, Harbhajan said, “This video is for a tuccha insaan (petty human being)… I don’t even know who he is. He’s played 3-4 matches and behaves as if he is Imran Khan, Wasim Akram or Waqar Younis. Shame on you.” He further warned, “Teri dhajjiya uda dunga,” expressing his anger at what he described as unnecessary drama and baseless allegations.
Harbhajan clarified that as a broadcaster in the ILT20, his role was to ask questions of players who performed well, regardless of nationality. Usman Tariq had picked up three wickets and won the Player of the Match award, and it was only natural for him to conduct an interview. He dismissed Tanvir’s comments as attention-seeking and said he would not tolerate repeated attempts to malign his image.
