Waqf Amendment Bill Kapil Sibal raises Hindu Religion Issues alleges Modi Government for targeting Muslims | Waqf Amendment Bill: प्रॉपर्टी में बेटों को हिस्सा और बेटियों का क्या? कपिल सिब्बल ने हिंदू धर्म की कौन सी खामियां गिनाकर कहा

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju introduced the Waqf Bill in Loksabh on Wednesday (April 2, 2025), which is being discussed not only in Parliament but across the country. Meanwhile, Rajya Sabha MP Kapil Sibal counted the flaws of Hinduism and appealed to the government to improve it. He said that reform is needed in every religion, but only Muslims are being targeted.
Kapil Sibal said that there is a need for improvement everywhere, Islam, Hindu, Christian or any other religion. We have been seeing since 2014 that a community is being targeted. He said, ‘I want to ask Modi ji why you do not want to improve a little in Hinduism. If the mosque falls, you keep quiet. In the case of Sambhal, you kept quiet. An agenda goes on and you remain silent.

He said that PM is to ask Modi that those who are their bills in Hinduism, whose property is, who is a will. How do they say in the bill that they will go to our property sons, not daughters. Daughters are also their children. If they do not get property, then there is no need to improve. Kapil Sibal said, ‘You see the history of 10-11 years. Sometimes against triple talaq, sometimes uniform civil code, sometimes love zidah, sometimes Muslims are being targeted. Sometimes flood jihad, sometimes spit jihad, bulldozer justice. If this is the political agenda of a political party to target one religion in some way and make the rest of the people in your favor so that the vote is obtained. It is targeting them, it will not stop, it will continue.

Kapil Sibal also attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) allies at the center and said that now it is to be seen which party is secular. He said that apart from BJP, the other parties, whether it is Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Janata Dal (United) (JDP) or Lok Janshakti Party (LJP), who votes in favor of the bill. This will decide who is secular.

Kapil Sibal said that if the TDP has brought an amendment, then he will support the bill because there is no danger to them. As far as JDU is concerned, there are elections in Bihar. They have to think. Will support the election. He said that JDU and LJP may do walkout and BJP may get a chance to pass the bill, but today it will be decided which is the secular party in the country. Kapil Sibal said, ‘I would like Chandrababu Naidu to give a statement that we are in favor of this bill so that a historical statement comes in front of the public once and Nitish Kumar should also do so so that it can be known.’
