Yash Dayal rape case
Before the latest setback, a girl from Ghaziabad, UP had also accused Dyal of raping her on the pretext of marriage. Dayal was booked under Section 69 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) after a woman from Ghaziabad accused him of sexual harassment and exploitation.
She stated that Dayal introduced her to his family and acted as though they were married, which deepened her trust. However, when she questioned his intentions, he allegedly became violent and continued to harass her.
In response, Dayal filed a written complaint via his lawyer at a police station in Prayagraj. In his statement, Dayal claimed that the woman, who had lodged an FIR in Ghaziabad, was attempting to blackmail him.
