Famous in the local language, this bhaji is considered to be wonderful in taste and beneficial for health. Its plant is like a vine, which is mounted up with the help of ropes. Interestingly, its leaves are not used, but delicious vegetables are made by peeling its soft stalks.

Local farmer Ramashankar says that Poi Bhaji has been a part of his childhood. We have eaten it since childhood and it is still an essential part of our food. Ramashankar says that this bhaji is rich in protein and vitamins. They say that although they are not a nutritionist, the experience of years enables them to understand its merits.

Summer is a favorable plant
Poi bhaji can be grown throughout the year, but the summer season is considered to be the most suitable for it. Its vine can be about 12 feet long and is often found in betel bare (betel cultivated area). Its vines grow faster and are ready for regular harvesting.
