There has been a lot of speculation regarding Sanju Samson’s possible trade for IPL 2026, which means that the star Rajasthan Royals captain could be seen playing for another team in the next season. Earlier according to multiple media reports Chennai Super Kings (CSK) were interested in acquiring Sanju Samson but now a new report has stated that there is another contender interested in picking the RR Batter.
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are said to be considering a trade agreement with Rajasthan Royals (RR) for Indian wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson, and have no objection to adding either Angkrish Raghuvanshi or Ramandeep Singh to the proposed exchange, as per a report from Anandabazar Patrika.
However, KKR is not ready to let go of both players in the same transfer. The trade negotiations follow increased speculation that Samson is plotting a move out of RR before the IPL 2025 auction. KKR has become a frontrunner to acquire the Kerala player if there is a transfer.

According to IPL trade rules, transactions can be made through a cash-only deal or a player-for-cash trade which are defined on the valuation difference. Samson is worth INR 18 crore, while Raghuvanshi and Ramandeep are worth INR 3 crore and INR 4 crore, respectively. If KKR add one of them to their team, they will have to pay a huge figure to even out the transfer.

"I have cooked chicken biryani along with a vegetarian dish. If the municipal commissioner comes and asks for vegetarian food, then I will offer it to him. But the government should not tell us what we should eat and what we should not. Such things should be stopped.
