ChhatarpurPassengers often feel thirsty while passing through the road in the scorching sun in the summer season. But when the pot on the roadside gets mixed with cold water, then every passerby quenches his thirst. In fact, for 18 years, Parasram Patel works to feed passers by a few meters from Dumra Tigella. Not only in the summer season, but the thirst of passers -by is quenched with their pots. Initially, he used to walk on foot with wells of the well.
Parasram Patel, a resident of village Devkulia in Rajnagar tehsil, says that I have been filling the pots for the last 18 years so that thousands of millions of passers-by passing through here can quench the thirst.
Matke used to pull water from the well
Parasram says that he has done boring just 5 years ago. But before that, he used to pull water from the well made in the farm in front and fill the pot here. Still when the light goes away, I fill water in the mats with hand.
Wake up in the middle of the night and fills water
Parasaram says that whenever the pot is empty, it has to be filled. Even at midnight, it is known that the passengers have returned thirsty, I still fill the pot. I perform my duty by drinking water to people. As long as I stay alive, I will keep drinking water. Now the coming generation does not know whether the children will give your grandson or not.
Water gives 12 months
Parasram says that not only in the summer season, but 365 days of the year, I keep water in the mats so that no passer by passing through here is thirsty.
They do wages themselves
Parasram says that I change the pot every month. Here the cool pots of the tams are kept, spending 600 rupees every month, I keep new pots while I myself do wages. Passengers say that whenever they pass, they drink the water here. For years, we have been drinking this water water.
