Scientists found that snakes also have such colors that humans cannot see. That is, they can turn themselves into ultraviolet color. This color helps to avoid predators. 110 species were studied.

People have a lot of confusion about snakes. This is more in a country like India. Some misunderstandings are due to religion, while some people have been misconceptions that have been going on for centuries even today as legend. This is the reason why snakes are also interesting topics for scientists. This is the reason that many times scientists also get new information about snakes. The new study has revealed that snakes can make themselves of colors that humans cannot see. They also benefit from this.

Snake ultraviolet color
Scientists at the University of Michigan have recently detected themselves in snakes in their studies. They have found that snakes do this to avoid poachers like some such birds. Researchers say that ultraviolet colored research in animals is mostly related to how humans understand colors. In the case of snakes, scientists wanted to know what would be the use of these colors.

Snakes of different species
He guessed that either this color is due to cheating (camouflage) or any kind of environmental signal. Research published in Nature Communication studied 110 snake species which were caught from Peru to Colorado. Many of these species can see ultraviolet colors as humans are unable to do.

Time and place
He took pictures of snakes with special kind of camera etc. and studied the ultraviolet colors that snakes reflect naturally and which humans do not see. After this, he studied the effect of colors in terms of snakes’ age, gender, housing etc. He got shocking information. They found that snakes living between trees and twigs reflect more ultraviolet color. At the same time, this happens more at night.

It has also been seen that the birds who are able to see ultraviolet color, they also hunting snakes. Tree leaves etc. also reflect ultraviolet colors, so it becomes easy for snakes to cheat hunter animals. Interestingly, there is no difference between male and females in this case, while snakes living in different places of the same species reflect different colors.
